Taco pizza is as fun to make as it is to eat. My youth group loves pizza and they love tacos. This taco pizza recipe is always a hit.

Things You’ll Need:
1 package (10 oz.) refrigerated pizza dough
1 can (10 oz.) of refried beans
1 lb. of hamburger (turkey burger can be substituted)
½ cup of water
1 packet of Taco Bell taco seasoning
1 cup of Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese
2 medium tomatoes sliced thin chopped
1 head of lettuce chopped
1 cup of chopped onions (optional)
Salsa (optional)
Sour Cream (optional)
1 cup of black olives (optional)
Jalapenos (optional)

Taco pizza is my youth groups favorite way to combine two dishes in one. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.

Lightly spray a 12 inch pizza pan with non-stick cooking spray. Take your pizza dough and roll it out on your pan.

Build the sides of your crust up. Using a fork, prick the dough generously. Spread your refried beans over your crust. If you want a thick layer of refried beans, you can add two cans. Add a layer of Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until crust is lightly browned.

While your crust, refried beans and cheese are baking, brown your burger and onions in a skillet. Drain the grease from your burger and onions.

Return the burger and onions to the skillet and add 1 cup of water and the taco seasoning packet. Stir until Taco seasoning is dissolved. Simmer until most of the water is absorbed.

When crust, refried beans and cheese are ready, carefully remove from oven and spread your taco meat over the melted cheese.

Add a second layer of Kraft Shredded Cheddar cheese over the Taco meat.

Once the Taco meat is added, cut your pizza into slices and serve.

Let the teens build their pizza by adding shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, black olives, jalapeno peppers, salsa, sour cream, etc. Whatever they like on their tacos is what they put on their pizza.

ENJOY!

Taco Salad’s are a favorite with most youth groups. It’s fun to make and they are quick and easy. Our youth group frequently requested Taco Salads when we would gather for teen night.

Things You’ll Need:

1 lb. of hamburger (turkey can be substituted)
Taco Bell Taco Seasoning Packet
1 cup of water
Cool Ranch Doritos
Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Lettuce
Tomatoes
Salsa
Sour Cream
Black Olives (optional)
Onions (optional)
Kraft Ranch Dressing (optional)
Anyone can make this Taco Salad Recipe.

In a skillet, brown your hamburger or ground turkey. Drain off any excess grease and return to the pan.

To the burger, add 1 cup of water and Taco Seasoning packet. Mix well and simmer for about 10 minutes or until the liquid is mostly absorbed.

Put a layer of Cool Ranch Doritos on your plate. In the center of the Doritos, put a scoop of taco meat. Put as much or as little as you like (just make sure you have enough for everyone).

Next, put a layer of cheese over the Taco burger. The amount is up to your taste.

Chop your lettuce and slice your tomatoes. Add as much of each to your salad.

Top with a sprinkle more of cheese. If you like, add olives, onions, salsa and sour cream.

Variations:
1. After your layer of Taco meat, add some guacamole then top with lettuce, tomatoes and the rest of your toppings.
2. For a slightly different twist, use Kraft Ranch dressing instead of the salsa and sour cream.

THINGS NEEDED:
Philadelphia Cream Cheese
Velveeta Cheese
Dried Parsley
Finely Chopped Planters nuts
Wax Paper

CREAM CHEESE BALL:
1. Roll one 8 ounce package of Philadelphia Cream Cheese on a piece of wax paper until it forms a ball.

2. On a second piece of wax paper, spread out about 1/2 cup of dried or freshly chopped parsley. Roll the Philadelphia Cream Cheese Ball in the parsley coating it well with parsley. Place the Philadelphia Cream Cheese Ball on a serving plate and serve with your groups favorite crackers. YOUR DONE!

VELVEETA CHEESE BALL:
1. Finely chop your favorite nuts (I prefer Diamond Almonds but you may prefer Planter’s Peanuts; walnuts will work as well) or buy them already finely chopped. A food processor works best if you have one available to you. Ziploc baggie will also work if you crush the nuts with a knife. You will need about a 1/2 of a cup.

2. Take 8 ounces of Velveeta Cheese and roll it on a piece of wax paper and form the Velveeta cheese into a ball.

3. Take another piece of wax paper and pour out your chopped nuts. Roll the Velveeta Cheese Ball in the chopped nuts. Coat well with nuts. Place the Velveeta Cheese Ball on a serving plate and serve with your groups favorite crackers. YOUR DONE!

COMBINATION CHEESE BALL:
1. Take 4 ounces of Philadelphia Cream Cheese and place it on a piece of wax paper. Using the wax paper, form the cream cheese into a ball.

2. On another piece of wax paper, take 8 ounces of Velveeta Cheese and place it on a piece of wax paper. Using the wax paper, flatten the Velveeta cheese out.

3. Place the Cream Cheese ball into the center of the flattened Velveeta Cheese and wrap the Velveeta Cheese around the Cream Cheese and roll into a ball.

4. Pour about about a 1/2 cup of crushed almonds or other nuts (dried parsley or fresh parsley can be used)onto a third piece of wax paper.

5. Roll the Combination Cheese Ball it in the nuts. Once coated well in crushed nuts, set the Combination Cheese Ball on a serving plate and serve with your groups favorite crackers. YOUR DONE!
*If you decide to use the parsley, you can do a substitution for the nuts.

COMBINATION CHEESE BALL Variation:
1. Take 8 ounces of Philadelphia Cream Cheese and combine it with 8 ounces of Velveeta Cheese. Using your hands, mix them together. Now place them on a piece of wax paper. Form the cheese mixture into a ball.

2. On another piece of wax paper, pour about a 1/2 cup of dried parsley (fresh parsley can be used)onto the wax paper.

3. Roll the Combination Cheese Ball it in the parsley. Once coated well in parsley, set the Combination Cheese Ball on a serving plate and serve with your groups favorite crackers. YOUR DONE!
*If you prefer the nuts to the parsley, you can do a substitution.

SPICY CHEESE BALL:
1. Combine a 1/2 a cup of salsa and Velveeta cheese and mix well. I find mixing with my hands work best. On wax paper, roll the mixture into a ball.

2. Crumble some Frito Corn Chips, Cool Ranch Doritos or your favorite Chip onto a piece of wax paper.

3. Roll you Spicy Cheese in the crumbs until your cheese ball is coated.

* You can also sprinkle your cheese ball with Chili Powder before forming the cheese into balls.

*You can also sprinkle your cheese ball with Taco Seasoning before forming the cheese into balls.

*Be careful of peanut allergies.

Cereal (Chex, Cherios,etc.)
Pretzels (sticks or other small shapes)
Planters peanuts
1/4 cup Crisco cooking oil
Turkey bag (2 gal. Ziploc baggie)
Cheetos (optional)
breadchips (rye, wheat, pumpernickle, etc.) (optional)
Fritos corn chips (optional)
Hidden Valley Ranch dry dressing mix.

The first step in making party mix is getting a turkey bag. Combine 1 cup of each kind of cereal (Corn Chex, Rice Chex & Wheat Chex, Cheerios). More than four types of cereal and the amount should be decreased to 3/4 cup each.

Add 1 cup of pretzels. If you like, you may also add 1/2 cup of any other plain snack like popcorn, Cheetos, bagel chips, corn chips, etc.

Next, add in 1 cup of Planters peanuts. You may also add 1/2 cup of any of the following: sesame seeds, almonds, cashews etc.

Add 1/2 cup of Crisco cooking oil. Seal the bag and shake lightly until snack mix has a light coating of oil.

Add the Hidden Valley Ranch Dry Dressing mix. Seal the bag and shake lightly until all of the snack mix is lightly coated.

After about an hour of lightly shaking the bag of Party Mix, it’s ready to serve.

Tips & Warnings
1. Let the teens combine the Party mix at the beginning of a meeting or event. Throughout the activity, let them take turns shaking the bag of mix. Make sure it is sealed good and let them help. After an hour let them enjoy the Party Mix they helped to make.

2. Be sure no one helping mix or eating your mix has any peanut allergies.

3. Let your youth group bring a bag of their favorite plain snack. You provide the oil and ranch mix. After it’s mixed for an hour, divide it into baggies and let each youth take some home with them. This is great for activities and events where new youth are invited to your group activity/event. When they take something home that they helped to make, it helps them remember your group as well as helps them feel important
